It was so beautiful seeing his mum and dad dote over him so naturally. With a big extended Darwin family he will be chasing everyone around the field in no time.

I have been waiting so patiently to meet baby Evelyn and today I finally welcomed her into my natural light Darwin photography studio.

With her beautiful mummy taking on motherhood so naturally and her daddy bringing 8300 babies into the world – she is in very experienced, safe and nurturing hands.

It was no wonder Evelyn’s nature is relaxed, calm and delightful.

I could have cuddled her all day if I was able to.

Adeline’s Maternity Journey and Birth Story!

I adore meeting Darwin families and hearing about their incredible birth stories. All so different from one another, yet I was not expecting the story I was about to be told on how newborn Nadia decided to make her grand entrance to the world. I hung on to every word in just amazement! Congratulations to Adeline and Roch! You two make quite the power team! Adeline you are just one beautiful and strong mumma!

“We were very lucky to fall pregnant after two months of trying for her. I was so happy when I found out I was having a girl because it’s what my husband always wanted. I couldn’t wait to see and hold her after seeing her via scans for 9 months.

By 39 weeks I wanted her out as I was over her tiny feet kicking me in the ribs, so I did everything that was suggested to bring on my labour such as pineapple, raspberry leaf tea, bouncing on my birthing ball, walks, dates.. you name it and I did it. She finally began to come and after a full on 2 hours of labour, she decided she couldn’t wait to get to the hospital, she was born in my car, on the way to the Royal Darwin Hospital.

After almost traumatising her daddy and mummy, we looked at her dark full head of hair, big eyes, long fingers and tiny toes and fell in love. She completes us! So glad we captured our pregnancy and newborn with Susan! Loved the neutral colours and subtle tones. It brought out her features and I loved the photo. Overall such a great, positive and empowering experience.

Susan was great with little Nadia, gentle and patient when she wasn’t settling. She even let me breastfeed and give her cuddles between photos. It made me a little less anxious and Nadia settle better. Thank you Susan!”

There is nothing better than getting a surprise phone call from your sister-in-law with news that our nephew had arrived only hours ago.

It had been quite some time since our immediate family have welcomed a newborn baby, you could imagine how excited we were to meet him and have our first cuddle!

He smelt soooo new and is perfect in every way!

Tyler’s bond with his parents is strong and gives them the most loving gazes. It really does make your heart explode!

We are so proud of Cat and Eli who have fallen naturally into their new roles as mummy and daddy.

Tyler is loved!

Susan is so good at what she does.The shoot itself was so nice and relaxed. I sat on the couch and watched as she worked her magic with my newborn. Susan was so gentle and patient, and allowed time for breastfeeding when needed. She was also fantastic with my toddler who joined us at the end.She was very flexible and understanding when I had to reschedule the shoot due to an early arrival. And was so patient with me while I chose the photos, which was very difficult since they were all amazing!I am so happy with the photos we received. I highly recommend Little Cherub Photography

We had a photo shoot for my 6 month old baby recently with Susan. She was lovely and friendly person that made us feel comfortable. She took her time to take the right photos and put me totally at ease when baby was fussy. She provided the photos quickly, and helped us select the best of them. Susan captured both my maternity and new born photoshoots.I was so nervous going into my maternity photo session however Susan made me feel so comfortable and guided me through many different poses. Susan captured my now 2 year old as a newborn so perfectly, so I couldn’t wait to see her again for baby number 2. Little Cherub Photography is FANTASTIC! Susan was so great. When my family and I arrived with my little one, she was welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Unfortunately my baby was being very fussy that day but her ability to settle her and still capture incredible photos was such a display of her professionalism and how experienced she was with babies and her craft. I received my photos 2 weeks later and I am beyond words with how incredible they are. Susan has captured both of our sons, and us a family a number of times over the past 4 years. Susan has meticulous attention to detail, and is a newborn whisperer so you’re guaranteed to get those sleepy newborn shots! She has taken photos of our oldest son as a newborn, at 3, 6, 9 & 12 months old and now again as a 4 year old and has been able to engage with him and capture him so naturally every time.
