I have had the pleasure of photographing so many amazing newborns in 2013. I would like to take the opportunity to reflect back on the year that was…

Being in love with newborns and specialising in this field for 6 years now, I have enjoyed and fallen in love with also photographing multiples. The challenge, double the cuddles and the amazing bond between them that I just love to capture gives me goose bumps every time.

What a pleasure it was to meet little cherubs Indiara and Harper. They arrived asleep and left asleep.

There are some wishes in life that are just meant to be.

When Rachel Low found out she was pregnant with twins, she was in tears of joy.

“I always wanted twins, ever since I was a little girl,” she said.

Her partner, Lachlan Nisbet, was a little more overwhelmed, ending up on the floor during the ultrasound. “He passed out. He was in a lot of shock bu once it wore off, he was really excited,” Rachel said.

Identical twins Indiara Nicole and Harper Elise already have an incredibly strong bond. “They always cuddle each other.” says first-time mum Rachel. :I have to wrap them with their arms out so they can touch each other.”

The Twins were born on October 29, Harper at 3.34pm and Indiara at 3.40pm. Harper weighed 1.7kg and measured 43 cm, and Indiara weighed 1.4kg and measured 43cm.
