Natural Newborn
The "Natural Newborn" style embraces the beauty of simplicity, capturing your baby just as they are—pure and unposed. Using soft, organic tones and minimalistic wraps, this style focuses on the essence of your newborn's natural charm. With no intricate props or forced positions, each photo reflects the peaceful innocence of your baby, surrounded by neutral, earthy tones that highlight their delicate features. POSED
The "Posed Newborn" style features your baby in safe, carefully arranged positions that highlight their adorable features. Whether you prefer a neutral backdrop or wish to introduce soft pops of color, this style keeps the overall look clean and simple, allowing your newborn to remain the focus of each image. This session offers a timeless feel and requires the full newborn photoshoot time to ensure your baby’s comfort and to capture each precious moment perfectly.
WRAPPED
The "Wrapped" style offers a cozy, comforting feel, where your newborn is safely swaddled and tucked in snugly—just like a little bundle of joy. This style is perfect for capturing the warmth and innocence of your baby, and is an ideal choice for shorter, mini newborn sessions.
FINE ART
The Fine Art Collection transforms your newborn into a timeless work of art. Using a moody black backdrop and dramatic shadows, this style highlights your baby’s delicate features with stunning depth and contrast. Often incorporating the arms of a parent, these poses create a powerful sense of scale, emphasizing the precious smallness of your newborn. With each image, your baby becomes the center of attention—beautifully framed and artistically captured in a way that feels both intimate and iconic. This is baby photography at its most elegant, where your little one truly becomes a masterpiece.
WHEN TO BOOK
Newborn sessions can occur up to 6 weeks old, however brand-new bubs are best
photographed at 3-14 days old. At this very precious stage of development they are
very sleepy and can “curl” easily allowing them to be artistically, peacefully and
naturally positioned.
I work at the pace of your newborn baby, while paying attention to the smallest of
details to capture the best images possible.
My style of portraiture is natural and organic; pure and simple. I love working with
colour but also in moodier, artistic tones if that is more your style. Whatever you
prefer all will capture the pure innocence and every fine detail of your angelic
newborn. Every time you see those images, it will reconnect you with the emotions
you had that very day.
What to expect in your newborn session
This studio session ranges from 1–2 hours.
Mum, dad and siblings are most welcome to join the newborn session.
I have a beautiful range of the finest props, throws, custom-made backdrops,
bonnets, and wraps to choose from for your photography session.
Being an artist, I can create amazing sets for your little cherub.
It is highly recommended that you make an advance (8 weeks) booking while you are
still pregnant to ensure you don’t miss out on capturing this precious young age.
