Introducing Little Cherub Caelan.

Little Cherub Caelan entered the world 3 months earlier than expected.

He may have been little weighing a mere 1013g, but he was born with a fighting spirit and the strength and determination of a lion.

No words can explain the admiration I have for his beautiful mum and dad.

They embarked on a journey in the SCU that demands the most incredible strength from within and driven by an incredible love for their son (and chocolate).

Emma and Luke, you are an inspiration and Caelan is blessed to have such amazing parents.

A truly beautiful family!

It was beautiful to see all of Caelan’s achievements and milestones celebrated with certificates.

Got some beautiful photos taken of our 2 week old baby girl last week. Susan was very welcoming and kind. The studio has a relaxing vibe & also very clean. Thank you Little Cherub Photography for capturing our beautiful newborn and family portraits. It was our first time for a newborn photoshoot, so we had no idea who to go to. So then I searched through Google and found these beautiful photos with high star reviews. Susan is such a professional and trustworthy photographer. Starting from back and forth queries, until the day we had the session. She is very accomodating, calm and patience for the whole session and guided us on choosing the best photos to keep. Also the studio is so stunning! very clean, hygienic, and modern. You could really see how she handles her clients perfectly and makes them comfortable throughout the session. I would highly recommend Susan and her Little Cherub! We will definitely go back and refer her to our friends and family. She is indeed a high-star photographer and one of the best in Darwin :)

This was our second time having Susan do our newborn photos. There wasn’t a question of who we’d use this time as she is just the best. Susan has such a beautiful calming nature with newborns. Which makes the shoot go so smoothly. She has such a passion for newborn photography you can see it whilst she works. Treaured photos - a wonderful experience. Susan from Little Cherubs is incredible... professional, welcoming, so patient and great with our little one. We can't imagine doing a newborn photoshoot with anyone else. Susan loves her work and it shows. Everything is thought of, and every step across the entire process was easy. We never felt more comfortable during a photoshoot... Susan talked us through everything, which put us at ease right away, and she took care of all the little details.I also never would have thought to look at the photos as telling a story for our son to enjoy later in life, it was so thoughtful how she pulled all the photos together (I cried when viewing the online client portal).The studio is stunning, uses natural light and has a fantastic selection of props. Susan is amazing! From my maternity shoot to the newborn session, she created such a wonderful and relaxed atmosphere. She has a true talent for capturing beautiful, natural photos. What I really appreciated was her gentle approach with my newborn. She never pushed or forced anything, and instead worked patiently with my baby. Susan is amazing at calming and soothing the little ones, which made the entire experience so smooth. She truly is a "baby whisperer"! 😊The photos themselves are absolutely stunning – I will cherish them forever. I highly recommend Susan to anyone looking for a photographer, especially for maternity and newborn photos! The only regret I have is that I didn't select more photos! :-)

We had newborn photo and sibling photos with Little Cherub Photography - Darwin Maternity Newborn Baby Photographer.1. Booking experienceI contacted Sue the photographer out of hours ( newborn baby time zone) and was greeted by a very friendly lady called Sue. I explained to Sue that our baby had been born at 35 weeks and we had no time to book anything. Sue directed me to email her all the details and she would check her schedule. Sue is normally fully booked for months ahead. Within 12 hours and as indicated on the phone, Sue emailed back with all the information we needed to progress with the booking. We were given a date way earlier than anticipated due to a cancellation. The booking process was streamlined and very easy.2. our experience at the photoshootPrior to the shoot my partner and I went through all of the collection via Facebook and sent Sue our preferred style and colour scheme. When we turned up to the shoot ( late due to a newborn and his feeding needs and sue was so understanding). When we arrived , Sue had her ideas ready and the colour scheme and helped us choose props that aligned to our style of photos sent prior.During the photoshoot, my partner and I were asked to sit on her beautiful sofa and allow her to work with our baby. Sue is AMAZING with babies and siblings especially those with additional needs. I just sat at the photoshoot and basically relaxed as sue did all the changing and settling and even winding. She also fitted us in within 10 days due to a cancellation and based on the fact that he was born prematurely. We have seen our photos and had the difficult job of narrowing down photos which were all so beautiful ( Sue also made this process easy by adopting a method where we compared similar photos in style and chose the best one. The experience at the shoot was just so relaxing and so positive. Sue is a baby whisperer and such a talent . Thank you for such a relaxed and positive experience. The photos are well worth the investment and the shoot including the studio is zen and comfortable with all needs catered for.
