Happy Birthday to my Little Cherub Zavier who is 4 years old today.

Isn’t it amazing how time goes by and you sit and admire before you a wonderful little being you brought into the world, which only seemed like yesterday.

My clients often ask me the same questions “How long have you been doing Little Cherub Photography?” or ” How did you become a photographer?”

Admiring these gorgeous photographs taken by Professional Photographers Kathy and Grant Ashford took me back to that very day. It is true what they say about a photograph speaking a thousand words.

Four years ago I was excited to hear that Professional Photographers and good friends Kathy and Grant Ashford, from Ashford Studio had returned to Darwin for a holiday – perfect timing to introduce them to our son. Kathy offered to take photographs of Zavier and teach me newborn photography. It wasn’t until a friend commented on the photographs we proudly shared “Oh what a Little Cherub!” that the phrase stuck. With the combination of my passion for photography since a very early age, my son who was and still is my greatest inspiration, Kathy and Grants ongoing mentoring, and so much love and support from family and friends, Little Cherub Photography was also born. I have been pursuing newborn photography and have been just as besotted with it ever since.

So for a little change, I would like to share with you my little cherub, Zavier and the precious moments we had when we welcomed him into our world. Thank you Kathy and Grant for giving me these keepsakes that I seem to treasure more and more as time goes on xx
