I have had the pleasure of photographing so many amazing newborns in 2013. I would like to take the opportunity to reflect back on the year that was…
Second-time mum Ruttiya McElroy was sure she was having a boy.
“This pregnancy was totally different to my first,” she said.
Instead, Alexa Jade – a girl – popped out on April 10 at 2.15pm.
Alexa is Ruttiya and hubby Judd’s second girl – a little sister to Taylah, 3. “I’m home with both of them – I pulled Taylah out of day-care so I can see both of them,” she said.
“It’s good seeing them both grow.” Ruttiya said Taylah changed her mind on a daily basis about if she wanted a baby brother or sister, probably depending on how she felt that day.
She said she would love to get her two girls into dancing.
Aleca weighted 3.1kg and measured 51cm.
