Growing up in a big Territory family, I was surrounded by babies and children all my life.

There was rarely a time when you wouldn’t find me playing mini-Mum with my cousins and extended family.

As a little girl, I spotted a camera; a manually wound, film camera that was shaped like a Coca Cola can! I asked my Dad to buy it for me and when he did, it started a beautiful photography journey.

That little camera upgraded to a film SLR, where I learned about and appreciated the fundamentals of light and immersed myself in the darkroom, until moving with the times and changing to a DSLR.

With a camera that accompanied me wherever I ventured, I snapped every fun and eventful moment that life threw at me, memories I wanted to cherish for years to come.

I'm now a doting mother of three little cherubs. It was when my first son was born and my life-changing journey to motherhood was fulfilled, my love for both family and capturing such precious times through photography naturally came together to create one big dream come true.

The combination of being family orientated, a mother, a dietitian working with children and an Accredited Early Childhood and Primary School Teacher means that I understand children, know how to care, nurture, calm and settle them, have the ability to connect with them and bring out their best in a calm, fun and safe enviroment.

Since then it has been my absolute joy and privilege to photograph thousands of little Territorians and their families.
