Michael and I had never really thought about newborn photography, it was a miracle we were even going to have a new born. I had seen Susan's beautiful work when she had photographed both my niece and nephew. My sister in law recommended Little Cherub, and after looking at her work on Facebook and her website, I couldn't wait to book a session.
Susan has an amazing way of making you feel like you have always known her, from the initial enquiry I made via email, to receiving our prints and album.
I was both excited and nervous before our session, but as soon as we pulled up Susan's smiling face greeted us..... the Little Cherub studio is welcoming and Susan talks you through exactly what is going to happen. There is an abundance of colour choices and props to choose from, and being indecisive as I am, when I asked for Susan's input she did a wonderful job in helping me pick colours that really suited my daughter's complexion.

Watching Susan work, her way of calming Tsambika and easing her into each pose was remarkable. A true professional. It was a joy to watch. Susan even suggested and went beyond with additional sets. I am so thankful, as they added an extra layer to Tsambikas story.
It just so happened that my mum was visiting from interstate and came with us. Once we had done our family shots, Susan was more than happy to have my mum come in for a few shots so that we could have some photos of 3 generations of women. My mum and I were so pleased to be given that opportunity.
Just seeing the 2 photo previews prior to our appointment made me emotional and I couldn't wait to see them all. We were not disappointed! No words can explain our absolute delight at all the beautiful shots of our daughter. Susan gave us so much time to go through them so we could decide on the photos we would keep. At every point of this photographic journey, it felt like Susan went above and beyond.
As soon as we received our electronic photos and album preview, we were so impressed with all of Susan's creativity. She is an artist in every sense of the word, and her work is a testament to that. What she created for us and Tsambika is something we will cherish forever!

During the newborn session Susan handled my baby delicately and lovingly throughout the shoot.
